Scotts was founded as a Partnership in 1976 and has grown in size steadily since then. In 2005 we became a limited company and in the same year merged with Hagon Todd, a firm of Chartered Surveyors who had a significant property management portfolio of their own, acting for private clients and a major charitable trust. Almost all of our new business comes to us by recommendation from existing clients.

The directors of Scotts are Chartered Surveyors with a working knowledge of all facets of the practice whilst predominantly dealing within their own specialist field. We have expertise in a wide range of property related matters.

As Chartered Surveyors our conduct is regulated and monitored by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. We are also members of the Association of Residential Managing Agents and we have to comply with the stringent Codes of Conduct and Rules and Regulations of both organisations.

We are also included on the register maintained by the Financial Services Authority and are therefore authorised to undertake insurance mediation activities. Our conduct in these matters is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
